Blue is the New Black

Creating a smokey eye with blue palettes. I’ll let you in on a little secret. A smokey eye does not have to be done in black. I absolutely LIVE for playing around with different colors to “smoke” my eyes and this month, I’m going with shades of blue. I’d almost forgotten about my Make Up For Ever Aqua Eye Liner in Blue (metallic teal) since I hadn’t used it in a while. After combining it with some OCC pigment in Saturate and Inglot in #315, I got the look I wanted! When you make the switch from black to other colors, you’re also giving yourself the freedom to wear a smokey eye for the daytime, which looks really modern and sets you apart from everyone else. There are makeup rules, but some are meant to be broken!
